This project involved designing and moderating a usability test for the TaskRabbit website to identify pain points in its navigation and booking system. The project followed an iterative approach, using multiple testing cycles to refine recommendations for improved user experience.
This team project involved designing a usability test to evaluate the TaskRabbit website, emphasizing the importance of accessible and seamless navigation. As a core member, I helped identify usability issues and design tasks aligned with real user scenarios, such as locating services and booking tasks.
By moderating participant sessions and recording observations, I gained firsthand insights into usability pain points, refining my ability to guide users through structured test environments. The iterative nature of this project required several rounds of testing, analysis, and reporting, teaching me to adapt based on feedback and improve our methods with each cycle. This process highlighted the value of user-centered design, especially the importance of adapting web elements to meet user needs. The final report summarized findings and offered clear recommendations for improvement, demonstrating my collaborative, analytical, and evaluative skills in a real-world testing environment.
